Our recipes are designed not to simply feed your dog, but to nourish them. Our approach to canine nutrition both avoids the trigger foods commonly found even in the 'best' dog food brands, but includes the best hypoallergenic ingredients to give them a longer, happier and healthier life.

No legumes

Many grain-free foods use legumes to bulk out recipes, but these ingredients can be harder to digest and may reduce the absorption of taurine, an amino acid essential for heart health. We leave them out so every bite supports your dog’s wellbeing naturally and effectively.

No starchy carbohydrates

Starchy carbohydrates such as sweet potato, lentils, and chickpeas can raise blood sugar levels and limit fat metabolism, leading to energy fluctuations and less efficient nutrient use. We leave them out to help maintain balanced energy, metabolic health, and optimal nutrient absorption.

Freshly cooked

We gently steam cook our food to 90°C, the optimum temperature to eliminate harmful bacteria while preserving the natural nutrients and flavour of every ingredient. Each meal is then quickly frozen to lock in freshness and protect delicate vitamins and fats. Traditional dog foods are often ultra-processed at high temperatures, which can degrade nutrients and create unwanted compounds, while some fresh brands cook in plastic pouches that risk chemical leaching into the food. We never cook in plastic, only in food-grade stainless steel, ensuring your dog’s meals stay as pure and safe.

Careful protein selection

We only use novel, low-allergen proteins such as venison, duck, pork, and turkey, chosen for their high digestibility and gentle impact on sensitive systems. We avoid chicken and beef, the two most common proteins in dog food, as studies have shown they are leading causes of food-related allergies, skin irritation, and digestive discomfort in dogs.
